Marie is growing...

At her two week check up she weighed 9 lbs. 7 oz. and measured in at 20.5 in.
She's definitely growing quickly!!!

These pictures were taken at 4 weeks old.

Sisters are so special

This week we had some special people
come visit us from Utah.
Sheri's crazy sisters and little baby Miles.
Miles is 2 months older than Marie.

We had a wild and crazy time while they were here...

Sadly, I forgot to get a picture of the sisters together.
Oh well, the kids are much cuter.

Fun with Marie

Here are some pictures taken during out first week with Marie.  The kids absolutely love having a little baby around...until she needs mom's attention.  They are learning to be patient and are adjusting pretty well.

The following picture is taken by the best photographer in the house...Little Will.

Speaking of Will...we've been having fun while Paige is at preschool four days a week.
Will even got a new backpack to use during the day, just like his big sister.

Now that he's a big brother he tells me he is my "big helper."
Most of the time that is true.

Paige's First Day

We dropped Paige off for her first day of preschool.  She has been extremely excited to start and when the day finally came she couldn't have been happier.

I think she was a little overwhelmed by the other kids and so much going on, but she stayed happy throughout and we left her sitting at this table eating her morning snack.   Will has been having a hard time without her, but he'll get used to it.

Baby update

Okay, here's a quick update on the pregnancy...
1. I'm getting huge!
2. We had another ultrasound and it was pretty evident we are having a girl.
3. My due date is now one month away - Sept. 26.
4. I really, really hope that she comes early.
5. We are both very healthy.
6. The baby has already "dropped" so I am officially completely uncomfortable at all times.  No joke.
7. We are most likely naming her Marie, unless something drastic changes our minds.
8. We have not chosen a middle name yet.
9. I'm realizing that we have nowhere near what we need for the baby, which has launched a garage sale and sewing frenzy around here.  Why again did we get rid of everything?  Oh yeah, we moved twice and didn't think we'd still be in school when this little one came.
10. We are extremely excited for "Marie baby" (as Will calls her) to join us...Paige and Will talk about her every day and can't wait for their little sister to come!

Here's a photo that Will took of me the other day.  Not bad for a 2 year old.  I just need to get him to quit cutting people's heads off.  =)

Dog days of summer

Summer is officially over.  Eric has started law school.  Paige starts preschool on Monday.  Here are some pictures of fun we had toward the end of this summer....

Bed Time

Ever since we moved into our new place, the kids have been sharing a bedroom. We decided that it was okay for them to play quietly in their room until they were tired, which actually worked quite well for a couple weeks. However, lately Will has been a little bit unruly and bed time is no exception. An hour after we put them to bed tonight they came downstairs...apparently to perform for us...

As annoyed as I was that they hadn't gone to sleep yet and that they had gotten into all the dress up clothes, I couldn't help but laugh at my son in a golden skirt (you can't see the sequins, but trust me, they are there) and run for the camera. I'm sure this did not help our situation in getting them to go to bed, but hey, sometimes being a parent isn't all about being strict, right? The following shows how unhappy Paige was when I sent them back to their room. Will doesn't really get unhappy...he just disobeys and then laughs about it. I'm telling you, we are in trouble with this little guy, he's going to be a handful...
